I have been fascinated with the symbolic and mystical imagery of the Tarot for many years, and own more than a dozen decks.  As a Data Scientist, I have seen universal archetypes manifest over and over again in human behavior across industries.  I have also analyzed the gaming industry through detailed data from some of the largest casinos in the world.

The history of the Tarot is shrouded in mystery, with the modern incarnations of the deck appearing in renaissance Europe, likely imported from Egypt.  I have used imagery from some of the earliest decks, such as the Visconti-Sforza deck in my series.  The ties between the Tarot and the Kabbalah are undeniable, and I have explored this connection in many of my series.
